YKRA (pronounced eek-rah) is a small backpack brand that started out in the basement of Budapest’s only surfer bar in 2011, fueled by a great love and nostalgia for the vintage apparel of the 70’s. Back then all the founders had were big dreams and an industrial sewing machine. When launching YKRA they were motivated to merge classic manufacturing, with high quality materials, and contemporary styles. The combination of their materials and handcrafting lead to products that have a soul. The leather wears in, and the canvas colors fade, each adventure leaving it's mark on your uniqe backpack. 

They manufacture all of their products by hand, in small quantities in the EU, in Hungary, where there is a long tradition of fine quality craftsmanship.
