Finnish brand Karhu’s OG trainer the Trampas made its debut appearance in the 1960s as a running shoe designed to focus on the requirements of training on a more regular basis. Its padded heel collar and improved arch support paving the way for the Trampas to be worn by both Olympians and everyday folk who would all grow to appreciate its immense durability and charismatic casual style.
After a successful re-introduction in 2019 with collaborations that included Pop Trading Company and Seattle-based retailer LIKELIHOOD, the Karhu Trampas is back in no less than two different versions plus an accompanying capsule collection of apparel inspired by the casual nature of the OG Trampas footwear design. Just arrived at Fresh the capsule features graphics inspired by Karhu’s archive alongside unstructured wool caps, heavyweight raglan sleeve crew neck sweats, shorts, and a classic coach jacket adorned with chenille applique branding appear alongside terry cloth crew socks, short sleeve t-shirts, and a handy tote bag.
