Carhartt WIP x Nicholas Daley
For Fall/Winter 2025, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with Fashion Designer Nicholas Daley to create an amazing capsule collection.
Built on a shared appreciation of music and the culture that surrounds it, the collection sees the British designer pay tribute to the pioneering reggae club night created by his parents, Maureen and Jeffrey Daley, in Edinburgh which ran across Scotland between 1978-82.
For this collaboration, Daley celebrates his core values of community, craftsmanship and culture, while nodding to his own heritage, with subtle references to both Jamaica and Scotland woven throughout the collection.
Known for combining functional, workwear-inspired silhouettes with a sense of off-kilter craftsmanship, Daley’s clothes are imbued with a certain subcultural sensibility. The designer’s deep connection to music — evident in campaigns, events, and the clothes themselves — created a natural resonance with Carhartt WIP, whose iconic styles serve as a mainstay in the wardrobes of DJs, musicians, and club-goers across continents and genres.

Within the collection, there are nods to music ephemera, such as custom pin badges and t-shirts in- spired by his parents’ ‘Reggae Klub’ nights reworking, as well as a record bag rendered in a custom tartan print. This tartan was created in collaboration with the knitting circle Daley’s mother runs, highlighting the importance of ancestral craftsmanship throughout the designs. The same print appears on a classic her- ringbone twill, applied to a short harrington-style jacket with contrast corduroy pockets.

The palette for this unique design employs rich blues, greens, and mustard yellows, subtly referencing the St Andrew’s Cross flag colors of the nations of Jamaica and Scotland. Carhartt WIP’s chore coat, meanwhile, is reimagined in a mix of navy corduroy and indigo denim, and bears contrast stitching that accentuates the subtle design alterations Daley has reimagined for this iconic style.
Other classic Carhartt WIP archetypes, such as the Vest, Double Knee Pant, and Cargo Pant also draw from similar design cues featured throughout the range. The collection includes jersey-based pieces, such as the custom striped t-shirt detailed with a chest pocket, and a hooded sweatshirt featuring unique design lines, cord detailing and contrast stitching.
There is also the inclusion of two headwear styles: a knitted, striped bucket hat with logo detailing and Daley’s signature Baker Boy design, in a robust canvas that will soften and patina over time. Both are new silhouettes to the Carhartt WIP range.
Each item within the collection features a custom woven label, with a logo lock-up hand-drawn by Daley referencing psychedelic 70s music vinyl typography – emphasizing the care and personal touch give n to each element of this collaboration.
Carhartt WIP x Nicholas Daley will be released at Fresh in Torino on October 23, 2025.
